Greetings from the North
I got an invitation to join Brigita's blog, so here I am! It is really nice to see what Brigita has done. This just looks great! Congratulations, my friend.
I won't tell more about myself this time. Perhaps Brigita can do it whenever she wants and possibly in Slovak :)
I am not a senior yet, but one day I will... If you ever want to ask me something about life in general in Finland, my parents' memories, senior citizens' life, feel free to ask.
Good luck with your project! I wish I could join you in Kosice.

Hello Heli,
I am glad to see that you accepted my invitation.
Please feel free to add your comments whenever you feel like.
With best regards

Hello Heli,
It's very nice to see your picture once more. Are you having a very cold autumn? Here in Gran Canaria it's raining from time to time, but it's a little hot too.
We are working with our students and they like their tasks very much. Your contributions will be appreciated.
"Greetings from the South"
Fernando
Hi Heli,
I am "Pista" one of Brigita´s "recycled teenagers". I am very fond of cycling, I take long cycling trips in the neighbourhood of Košice and not just there, you will be able to read my "my stoties about cycling" soon.
How about cycling in Finnland, are there many people interested in it?
With best regards
Pista
Hello Fernando & Brigita,
I am really happy to see that your projects have finally all started and you've got energetic students who want to write and practise English at the same time.
I miss Canary Islands and a bit warmer weather. It is so dark and rainy here in Finland now.
I am running a couple of language projects in which blogging is involved. A blog is a great way to teach things and to communicate with students.
Fernando, have you got a blog for your "seniors" as well?
Nice to meet you, Pista. Recycled teenagers ;) A funny term but so true. I mean that I feel like a recycled teen; somehow longing for those "good old days". Actually, every age is good. We are wiser and more experienced!
Lots of people like cycling in Finland. Most of us do it every day. I even ride a bike to work in the snow; there are special winter tyres for bikes in Finland. My father, who is over 70, takes very long cycling tours almost every day (not in winter when he goes Nordic skiing), on average 40-50 km per day. I envy him because I could not keep in the same pace and I am much younger :)
How lovely it would be to enjoy sporting life also when we are retired.
Keep doing the good work everyone! I hope you don't mind my "popping in" every now and then.
Hi Heli,
I'm very pleased to see you, at least through Brigita's weblog.
Send a word whenever you want. You are always welcome.
Manuel
Hello, Heli,
It's nice to see you again. I visited your country this past summer but I was just 2 days there, in Helsinki. Beautiful market by the seeside. And the big white church. I didn´t phone you because it was too short, the time we spent there. Sometime I will go back, and promise to visit you on that occassion.
I'm trying to create the blog for my students now with Fernando...
My students have already started a training course of creative writing.
And they will start with the computer training this week.
Will we see you soon? Maybe in Slovakia?
lots of regards,
Fara & Fernando.
Hello Heli,
Nice to have you with us from the far. You see it works out well! Our seniors in Luxemburg are also on the right track. Some technical problems though.
If you like tell me a little more about your experience with blogging and language teaching. I am very interested, because we will start an MSN teaching pilot project soon.
